Video Analysis

In the music video Is A women, by Lambchop the idea of death to life is used.  At the beginning of the video we see everything covered by snow; no life can be seen under the snow. As the video goes on, the snow disappears little by little, and life begins to start with flowers popping out of the group.  As the leaf flows down the river, the ground changes from all snow to life appearing from the ground.  We also see that there is only a few fish trying to jump up the river and a bear trying to eat the fish.  This can shows that winter is coming to an end and that spring is around the corner.  As the leaf walks to the tree, we can that more leafs are coming on the tree.  The video end with green leafs on the tree, meaning the Spring has started.

Meaning of Name

Guadalupe:
1)river, 2)city in mexico, 3) valley of the wolves, 4)Our Lady of Guadalupe was a Mexican Virgin Mary apparition of the 16th century. She is a symbol of the Mexican nation. Our Lady of Guadalupe also applies to a Castilian apparition of the 14th century.

Parents did not know why they named me guadalupe. No other family member is named Guadalupe.
